Valentine is a beautiful suburb on the eastern shores of Lake Macquarie. The suburb was first settled in the early 1950’s, and now has a population of approximately 5700 residents. Valentine is proud of its friendly village atmosphere and community participation.

Lake Macquarie is one of Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lakes and is about twice the area and volume of Sydney Harbour. The foreshore of the lake stretches for about 175km. The area offers numerous recreational opportunities including sailing, kayaking, fishing, waterskiing, golfing, surfing, bushwalking and cycling.
